Submitting an application starts a review. It does not mean the business is approved, that an amount is reserved or that you have accepted an offer.
At Tree of Life Funding, the next useful step is to confirm what you need, understand the business and identify what is missing from the file. A short conversation can prevent a lot of back-and-forth later.
The questions behind the application
We want to know how long you have operated under the current ownership, what the business deposits each month and what obligations it already carries. We also ask what the capital will do. Buying equipment and covering a customer payment delay can call for different options.
If another owner must participate, tell us early. The person answering the phone may understand the operation, but the required decision-makers still need to be involved.
A submitted form is different from a complete file
The review may require recent business bank statements, identification, account verification and details of existing advances. Your representative should explain the documents needed for your situation and how to provide them through a verified submission method.
Ask a direct status question: Is my application incomplete, being reviewed or supported by an actual written offer? Those are different stages. You should know which one you are in.
Know the next step
Before ending the conversation, confirm what you need to send, who is handling the file and when you should expect another update. Timing depends on the product, complete documentation and the review. A fast callback is not a funding guarantee.
